College Football Betting Lines Place TCU at 18-1

TCU is 18-1 on the NCAA gambling line to win it all and is a national championship contender in 2010. It’s not out of the question that the Horned Frogs may go unbeaten, and TCU should be liked in NCAA odds in all of their games this year.

College football wagering odds like TCU in their opener as they sponsor Oregon State on September 4th. The Horned Frogs will also be liked the following week against Tennessee Tech. The only competition that TCU may be an underdog in would be late in the year at Utah but if the Horned Frogs are unbeaten going into that competition they would practically cetainly be liked, even on the road at Utah.

As they ended fifth in the country in scoring, TCU was a juggernaut last year. They’ve got nine starters returning including quarterback Andy Dalton. The Horned Frogs are still very excellent on that side of the ball, despite the fact that the defense did lose Jerry Hughes and Daryl Washington.

Heading into the 2010 NCAA year, TCU has very few weak spots. The key question on offense is at right tackle. If the Horned Frogs find a resolution at that spot they should genuinely roll on offense. The defense does need to have Tank Carder and Kris Gardner healthy at linebacker as that position is weaker than in previous seasons.

The Horned Frogs may go unbeaten this year if Dalton does not turn the ball over. In the last 29 games, TCU is 25-1 when Dalton throws one interception or less. When he throws several interceptions they are 0-2. The Horned Frogs are a perfect 22-0 when Dalton does not throw any interceptions.

TCU has a genuinely positive schedule to make a run at a perfect year. They’ll be confronted by Oregon State in the opener against NCAA odds but that competition is in Arlington which is nearly as close to a home game as you can get. If the Horned Frogs are to lose whatsoever it will probably come on the road and the only hard road game comes late in the year at Utah. That competition may end up deciding the Mountain West champion and a BCS bowl bid.

Gary Patterson, who has been with the squad for nine seasons, is currently the head coach of TCU. He has amassed 85 wins which places him in second place on the TCU career win chart. He also has six 10-win seasons, and is the only coach in school history to have that. The only year that his squad did not reach a bowl competition was 2004, and the Frogs have earned a spot in the Final Top 25 7 times. Prior to accepting the position with TCU in December 2000, he was an assistant head coach at numerous different schools. He was awarded the 2005 Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year. He even turned down a job offer from Minnesota worth over $2 million to stay at TCU. He headed the Frogs to a perfect 12-0 record last season.

NCAA football wagering prospects in 2015 will include a competition between Texas and Notre Dame. Starting in 2015, the 2 high profile squads will be playing a four-game series that ought to attract plenty of action against the NCAA football lines.

The first game between these marquee squads will be at South Bend on September 5th, 2015. The following year on September third, the squads will meet in Austin. They will take a break before the final 2 matches of the series. They’ll play in Austin on August 31st in 2019 and in South Bend on September 12th, 2020.

Both head coaches were very fired up about the new series. Texas coach Mack Brown is excited with the chance for Texas to play Notre Dame while new Irish coach Brian Kelly was also very thrilled. Texas heads into the 2010 at number 2 in college football history with 845 victories. With 837 all-time victories, Notre Dame is right behind them.

Texas and Notre Dame have faced off 10 times in the past with Notre Dame claiming 8 of the 10. They haven’t yet met since 1996 at Austin. Ever since the Cotton Bowl in 1970 when the Longhorns won a national title, Texas has not won a competition against Notre Dame.

Texas is deemed a national title contender this year in college football picks while Notre Dame is a longshot. Texas is 12-1 to win the national tournament this year while Notre Dame is 40-1. The Longhorns have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball but they must replace quarterback Colt McCoy. Notre Dame are not deemed on the same level as a few of the leading squads in the nation though the team has a new head coach in Brian Kelly. With only 4 road games all year, Notre Dame does have a fairly easy schedule. Texas has the more difficult job as they must face off with Oklahoma as a piece of their Big 12 schedule and they also have got to travel to Nebraska.

Maybe the Fighting Irish will be national title contenders again by the time Notre Dame and Texas meet in 2015. Notre Dame still has some work to do to get up to the leading level of NCAA football though the Longhorns are in the hunt every season.

College Big Ten in College Football Betting

As Ohio State has emerged as the favorite, NCAA football gambling odds makers will focus on four important teams in the Big Ten college football betting competition. NCAA football gambling challengers include Iowa, Wisconsin, and Penn State to knockoff the Buckeyes while 4 college football betting dark horses may be lurking.

Ohio State is fresh off a Rose Bowl win and their 5th sequential Big Ten Conference championship. Junior quarterback Terrelle Pryor comes back to top the offense that has nine starters returning. Pryor is now the starting quarterback for the Buckeyes and was widely regarded as the country’s leading football prospect of 2008. Rivals.com named him “Junior of the Year”. As he also had a productive basketball career, Pryor originally was hoping to be a two-sport athlete, but has instead chosen to concentrate on football. Throughout his freshman season as a starter he had an 8-1 record, with his sole loss being against Penn State. He is currently the fastest Buckeye.

The defense has held competitors to under 14 points per match in 4 sequential seasons and returns six starters. Nonetheless, with road games at Iowa and Wisconsin, the schedule is tricky.

As they were 11-2 straight up and 9-3 with the NCAA probabilities, Iowa had a remarkable year in 2009 in NCAAf college football betting. The Hawkeyes bring back six starters on offense headed by senior quarterback Ricky Stanzi. The leading 2 backs and leading 2 receivers additionally return while eight starters come back for defense.

The schedule breaks right for Iowa in 2010 with leading contenders Penn State, Ohio State and Wisconsin at home.

Wisconsin had a nice bounce back season in 2009 as they went 10-3 and beat Miami-FL in the Champs Sports Bowl. A tremendous 10 starters go back to the offense headed by senior quarterback Scott Tolzien, junior running back John Clay, and junior wideout Nick Toon.

When they sponsor Ohio State on October 16, the Badgers may be a live dog with the college football lines.

As they’re arriving off back-to-back 11 win seasons and have eight starters back on offense, Penn State proceeds to be 1 of the most steady programs in college football, even though the quarterback position will have a new starter.

The schedule is hard with road games at Alabama, Iowa, and Ohio State and that could be the NCAA football wagering deal breaker for the Nittany Lions in 2010.

Michigan State fell back a step a year ago going from 9-4 in 2008 to 6-7 a year ago. The Spartans return 7 starters on offense and six on defense and are determined to make Mark Dantonio’s 4th season a results.

Rich Rodriguez has the hottest seat in the Big Ten as his 1st 2 seasons at Michigan have been the worst 2-year stretch in school history. With 7 starters back on offense and 8 on defense this looks to be his last stand.

Northwestern looks to be a pesky team that may bring value after 2 sequential bowl seasons as Pat Fitzgerald proceeds to impress as coach.
